Carboniferous

The Carboniferous period, a hot and muggy time in prehistory.  During this time forests grew at over whilming stand.  Swamps where a norm, this period if time was home to large insects and arthopods because the atmosphere was highly oxygenated.   But there was more living at this time than the bugs, Anphibeans had appeared in the Devonian and now Reptiles made its appearance,  Fish retained its strength since the Devonian Extiniction.  But this blog will focus on the creatures that lived in the time.

Athurpleura was a large Centaped from the Carboniferous and Permian period.  This large Arthopod was a herbivore and ate the plants that grew on the forest floor of the swamps of North America and Scotland.  Arthupleura was covered in small spi…

Cambrian

I been watching allot of documentary's on the Cambrian.  This is what I learned.  Most of the life was the size of your finger nail to the size of half your leg.  This world was covered in ocean, the first life lived in the sea.  There was very little life on land.  The atmosphere compared to day is not suiteable for modern day life.  most of the life where arthopods, creatures that had armour bodies, fish had a simple to no back bone.  plant life also existed but it too was under the ocean surface.  This world is a very important time in all time.  This was when there was a varioty of diffrent type of wild life living in shallow seas.  Anomalocaris was the first super predator was of the time.  It may have been dead for along time, but th…

Pangea

Welcome to Pangea, this super contintant formed durimg the Permin Period, and broke apart by the late Triassic.  Pangea was a warm at the polar areas during the Permin.  And a hot arid desert at the equator region.  Pangea did had snow because during the Permin, there was Glaciers at the poles, unlike the modern day Glaciers it was not as big because of the super hot climate.  Creatures that live on the continant where different, in more respectable it is considered a Garden of Eden.  A paradise, where animals and plants where at even.  By the end of the Permin the world changed forever.  It is believed that a astroid or a super large suoer nova hit earth at the oceans.  The radiation killed most of the marin life and over time it killed t…

Big Brother, Little Brother.

Reasonly I removed a page called Microraptor family.  I have reason why I have removed it.  In a up coming episode of Dinosaur Train, users will learn of Mikey the Microraptor that his mom has adopted a dinosaur.  This is not unusal that already in the series that Buddy the T-Rex lives with a Pteranodon Family.  But what if your brother is 100 times your body size.  Well that is what is going to happen in a smaller scale.  For that reason I been holding this information back because when I read the episode I was estatic about the out come and the diffrences that this family has not only in size, but in diet.  One is a preditor that eats exclusivly bugs and the other eats plants.  Either way I thought to write this blog so I can explain my …
