Megalosaurus was a bipedal theropod that had a long tail which helped with balance. It was about 6 to 9 meters in length. Fossil evidence suggests that it had a very flexible neck. Megalosaurus was one of the first species discovered, along with Iguanodon. People may have thought that this dinosaur was a giant lizard. Megalosaurus lived in Europe during the Jurassic period. The most noteable Megalosaurus is Manny.
