Avisaurus was a bird that lived alongside many giant dinosaurs during the Cretaceous. It belongs to a group of ancient birds called enantiornithines. Avisaurus lived in North America during the Creteceous period. They lived around the rocky mountains in the swamps and forests near to the Western Interior Sea. They were instectavore. The best known Avisaur is Angela.
